Job Details: Wasteland Press is looking for a salesperson to recruit writers for our self-publishing plans. The qualified individual will be able to convey the value and benefits that set Wasteland Press apart from all other self publishing companies. This job is a straight commission based salary. Commissions range from 5-7% of total sale. This is also a wonderful opportunity for individuals that want to work from home, as well. All that is needed to complete the job is a working computer, internet connection, and telephone.

Essentials: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), ability to convey a concept, flexible, independent, self-motivated, friendly, and outgoing. No experience necessary.

Freelance Graphic Designer Needed

Job Details: Wasteland Press is looking for a graphic designer to help design our covers by using existing stock photography and incorporating verbal or written instructions from perspective authors.

Requirements: Must be able to produce a front cover design within 48 hours. This is a must, since we pride ourselves on being able to produce a full digital galley within 48 hours. Ability to follow verbal and written directions, flexible, independent, friendly, and outgoing. This position does not require interaction with the public at large, but will be in contact with employees at Wasteland Press on a frequent basis. No degree is necessary, however priority will be given to candidates with a college degree in graphic design and/or candidates with a developed portfolio of past experience in this area. This is also a wonderful opportunity for individuals that want to work from home on a part time basis, as well. All that is needed to complete the job is a working computer (PC or MAC), internet connection, and telephone.

Pay Rate: Pay rate is variable and we ask that you submit a per cover design rate in your resume. Please remember that our publishing plans range in amounts and we design all our covers the same regardless of the price that is paid by the author.
